Production Assistant:$8/hr
This position is a hands-on production position in our state of the art production facility. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Shirt Production, Cleanup, and occassional phone work.
• Shirt Production involves counting, stacking, loading, unloading, and folding/tagging/boxing of shirts and products. We typically print at a rate of 10 pieces per minute per press. We run two presses and can run production rates of 1200 pieces per hour for an entire day at times.. Most orders are 100 to 500 shirts. The work is varied and fast paced.
• Shirt Finishing: Folding, tagging, labeling with stickers, and sealing individually bagged shirts.
• Cleanup involves sweeping, removal of trash, picking up, and occassionally performing screen maintenance (ink removal and cleanup). Cleanup can be a potentially wet and dirty task.
• Phone work involves answering the phone and assisting retail and wholesale customers with web, product, and order related questions.
• The production environment is fast paced and typically non-stop. It's not unsuual to spend time doing all of the above tasks in a given work day.
• This position will be crosstrained into the fulfillment specialist position and may be asked to work in that capacity from time to time.
• Employees are expected to wear comfortable, casual clothes and this includes shorts, t-shirts, etc.
• Employees in this position are required to stand for several hours at a time and may stand all day.
• Our production environment has excellent ventilation, but can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter.

This position has the following Requirements:
- Speak, Read, and Write English fluently.
- Attentive to detail.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract and multiply.
- Capable of lifting and carrying a 60 lb. box.
- Team Player, willing to pitch in and help as needed.
- Full color vision. Employees must not be color blind because the position involves identifying colors by sight.
- Self-Starter. We are a production screenprinting facility and work is often non-stop from start to finish. Employees are expected to work with minimal direct supervision.
- Full time employees must be available for overtime as required with or without notice.
- Must be 18 years of age.
