Customer Service Rep:Pay $8/hr
We are hiring a customer service representative. This is a challenging, fast-paced position that involves a variety of tasks. Some of the tasks that are involved include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and handling discrepancies with orders based on our established procedures and guidelines.
  • Delivering a high level of quality and service. Sometimes they become frustrated. A successful candidate *must* be able to handle this in stride without getting personally attached. The ability to find a win-win solution and remain professional and polite under stress is required.
  • Helping retail and wholesale customers with web based, phone, fax, and email orders.
  • Helping wholesale customers with pricing, changes, and discrepancies.
  • Reviewing orders for problems and fraud.
  • Responding to customer requests via phone, email, and fax.
  • Responding to customer complaints and attempting to resolve them satisfactorily.
  • Skilled in using MS-Office applications including Word, and Outlook
  • Using a scanner to convert documents from paper to electronic and storing them in the appropriate places.
  • This is an office position that requires frequent visits to our production areas to coordinate work with other departments. In addition during the Christmas rush this person is expected to work for a couple of hours in our order fulfillment department due to seasonal demands.
  • This position's base hours are from 9:30am to 4pm daily. This may change from week to week and some flexibility is required.

This position has the following Requirements:
- Speak, Read, and Write English fluently.
- Attentive to detail.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract and multiply.
- Ability to work under pressure and remain calm and polite.
- Team Player, willing to pitch in and help as needed.
- Ability to multi-task without becoming frustrated
- Ability to type 35 words per minute.
- Proper grammar and basic writing skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
