Explanation
1. What is this page for? This page is available to answer many common questions regarding site usage and shirt ordering. We can't always answer the phone. So we want to provide as much information as possible to make your experience smoother and easier.
2. I don't have my "art" ready, can I still order shirts? YES! Art can be a variety of things. We believe that most customers can do their own artwork and save money in the process. Art can be anything from a photoshop or professionally created Adobe Illustrator file to a simple Microsoft Word document. With a Word document you are simply showing us the font and typesetting that you want to use. It really is that easy.
3. What if I can't answer yes to those questions? Don't worry. Most people can't answer yes to those requirements. But it won't take much longer. We simply need to get your design right, get it printed, and ship it out to you. We can usually get orders of 1000 shirts or less printed in 3 business days or less from the time we receive your proofs. But we can't start printing your order until you have approved the design. The most important part of the process is ensuring that your order is done right.
4. How long does it take to print my shirts? You can select the Service level that meets your needs. Our standard service level is 2 to 3 weeks. We also offer a 5 business day Rush and a 2 Business day Rush charge. Check out the Rush page in the shopping cart for more info.
5. I'm concerned about ordering over the internet. How will I know what they look like? We want to make sure you have a pleasant and safe transaction. We also want your shirts to be the way you imagined when you ordered them. We have several steps to help with that.
  1. We create art proofs that are black and white printouts at the same size we will print your design. We let you approve these before we do anything.
  2. We use color samples on our website created by the shirt manufacturers to ensure accuracy.
  3. We use ink color samples on our website from the manufacturer to ensure accuracy.
6. I'm not any good with graphics programs, what do I do? If you text or words on your shirt don't worry. You are probably better then you think. Just simply go into Microsoft Word and pick a font and type in what you want it to say. Then send it to us and let us know how big to print it. We work with our customers around this all the time. We frequently will recreate your design in one of our professional tools using the design you submitted.
7. How do I order shirts?

We have a intuitive process that is designed to help you order blank or printed shirts. Due to the complexity of having over 60,00+ products on our website we have designed the shopping cart to accept your order in stages.

Our advanced checkout process actually interviews you to determine what you need, one step at a time. The model is easy to use once you know what to do.

1. Pick all your shirts.
2. Tell us what you want to do with them (Blank, Transfer, Numbers, or Printing)
3. Do you need it in a hurry? Do you need pricetags/hangtags attached?
4. Get an estimate or Provide Billing/Shipping info.
5. Verify your order is correct
6. Provide Payment Info
7. Prepare and Upload your artwork to our server.

8. Where can I put in my credit card information? We provide a secure online payment page. When your order is complete you will be asked for your credit card information. The page is secure when you see the yellow lock or key in the lower portion of your browser. We also accept credit cards via paypal. Whatever is most convenient for you.
9. Can I pay by check or money order? Yes We prefer to accept payments electronically. Via Paypal, Credit Cards, etc. However, we realize that some organizations need to pay by check. If you are a government or public entity such as a school, local or state government contact us for arrangements to pay by check. Individuals may pay by money order as long as they have made arrangements in advance.
10. Do I have to use the same color of ink on the front and back? No, you can use any color in any location. We charge for each place that we put ink. Due to the way that shirts are printed, we must complete each print and then run the shirt through again for a different location. Therefore, if you would like black on the front and back, it's a single color of ink on the front and back. It's like printing two shirts to us. We can also do Black on the front and Red on the back. It's the same amount of effort and work for us. We do encourage consistency on shirts because we think it looks better.
11. What is the minimum for printing? We can print as few as 6 shirts.
12. Do you have any clipart? Yes You can browse our huge selection of clipart from the homepage.
13. Can I change my order after it has been placed? Yes, however there is a change fee. Once you place an order we begin to immediately take steps to fulfill that order as quickly as possible. While we can accomodate your change, we have to pass along the costs associated with this. Some of these costs are, additional shipping, restocking fees from our distributors, and administrative overhead. We prefer that you place the order and make no changes to it after it is placed. This allows us to serve all of our customers as efficiently as possible.
14. Do you accept Purchase Orders (POs)? Yes under certain circumstances. We strongly prefer purchasing (credit) cards when possible. P.O.'s can be accepted from Government and Educational customers when there are more then 500 shirts in the order. Please contact us to make arrangements.
15. When do I send my artwork? After you place your order. In order to maximize space on our servers we do not accept artwork until the order has been placed.
16. I'm not sure if my artwork is good enough, can you look at it? Sure. Just email your artwork to Art@txshirts.com It typically takes 1 business day to evaluate art. Please ask specific questions so that we can better serve you.
17. The online process is confusing, can I order over the phone? by fax? by mail? No. We only accept orders via our online shopping cart. The most important thing we can do is to keep our costs down for customers. To do this we do not have a sales staff or a dedicated phone staff.
18. Do you ship internationally? YES. International orders for blank goods should be placed via Amazon.com. All of our products are available on Amazon.com. We do not accept international orders through this website.
19. How do I know your site is secure? We pay Square Trade, a trusted leader in the online community, to audit our site. They issue a security seal which appears on many of our pages. Think of this like paying a security company to inspect your building and make sure the doors are locked, the windows are locked, and the fence has not been cut. That is essentially what they do on a weekly basis. They check our servers to ensure that they are not vulnerable to known problems. They use the FBI Security Center list as well as other well known industry resources to ensure that our system is as secure as possible. In addition, our founder previously worked as an engineer and consultant for Bindview and Quest Software respectively. Bindview and Quest are leaders in the corporate and enterprise security field for Microsoft based computer networks. The same principles applied with fortune 100 clients have been applied with our network. The most obvious example is a independent, 3rd party audit on a frequent basis. Less obvious measures include restricting access to data to only employees who need it to do their job. We also employ other measures which we will not discuss in order to protect our security mechansisms.
20. How does your discount model work? We divide your order into three components. First, is the shirts, Second is the decoration, and third is finishing and shipping. Discounts are applied at each level. All discounts are based on the number of shirts. The most common question involves discounts for shirts themselves. Our discount model groups colors and sizes in a style. For example: If you order 75 shirts and 25 small, 25 medium and 25 large of Red, Beefy-T, style H-5180. You would get the 72 piece price for all 75 shirts. If however you order the same 75 shirts, and 25 are blue, 25 red, and 25 green, then you would get the 12 piece price for each group of 25 shirts. Without being too complicated, the reason is that we get better prices when we can buy in case quantity and we pass the savings on. A case is generally 72 shirts, but this varies by style and type. In addition, it costs more to handle mixed orders.
